Inspired by my friend and fellow blogger Whitley over at Simply Whit in a Sequined Life, I have decided to create and share a mini-bucket list of things I would like to accomplish this year. In addition to my resolutions that I shared yesterday of overall goals for the year, I have decided to write out a "to-do" list of all the things I want to make happen this year. The goal is to do one item on the list every week for the entire year. As a listaholic, I couldn't think of a better way to document my goals and to challenge myself to really focus on the things I want to make happen; plus, having it in black and white makes it more official than just daydreams floating in my head. I now have a reference to hold me accountable. So, here it is:

Life:
1. Graduate with my Masters of Science in Engineering
2. Pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
3. Get a full time job (with benefits please!)
4. Buy a car (yes, I am currently without my own wheels)
5. Pay off my credit cards
6. Stick to my budget for a month (this may require a miracle)
7. Invest in a new, grown-up computer
8. Spend my 30th birthday somewhere fabulous (Mediterranean Cruise??)
9. Get new eyeglasses and actually wear them
10. Redecorate and reorganize my home office/study
Firsts:
11. Go ice skating
12. Buy a designer handbag (helllloooo Tory!)
13. Go to Eastern Market
14. Get a massage
15. Visit Chicago
16. Go to Painting with a Twist, hang work of art in my apartment
17. Attend Detroit's tree lighting at Campus Martius
18. Plan and go on a picnic
19. Attend Arts, Beats, and Eats
20. Try macarons and see what all the buzz is about
Health:
21. Complete a juice cleanse
22. Take a yoga class
23. Register and run in a 5K
24. Buy a bicycle
25. Give up fast food for Lent
26. Take a spin class
27. Work-out 5 days a week for a month
28. Go vegetarian for a month
29. Go without Diet Coke for a week
30. Take a zumba class
Just for Fun
31. Attend 3 concerts
32. Add at least 1 new stamp in my passport
33. Read 5 books
34. Plan a weekend away
35. Host a dinner party
36. Go to midnight showing of X-men: Days of Future Past (GAH!!!)
37. Send letters to my college friends
38. Go wine tasting in Traverse City
39. Plan and go on a spa day with my sisters
40. Try a new restaurant every month for the year

42. Use my blog Facebook page more often
43. Blog 5 days a week for a month
44. Collaborate with one new blogger each month

46. Attend a blogging conference

So, there it is, my official list of 52 things in 52 weeks. I will be documenting my progress here along the way and will definitely follow Whitley on her journey as well. If anyone else is attempting a list of goals for the year, let me know, I would love to read your list and follow along!
