Hello Lovelies!

I am so, SO excited to be writing to you all for the first time I could almost squeal! But, I will attempt to maintain some sort of decorum so I do not scare you away this very first post. I have been working on getting my blog "done" enough to begin posting for over a month now. Confession: I did very little in terms of beautification and owe all the pretty, sparkly graphics to my amazing boyfriend, he is one patient and talented guy (adorable too, see above). Yesterday, we finally reached a point where I am proud of what we have accomplished and ready to steer this baby (my baby) into the world! I hope you all will follow along and enjoy this journey with me. On that note, let me share some obligatory background on myself...

My name is Rachel, although I prefer to go by Ray. I'm a twenty-something-year-old grad student, working at an engineering firm in Downtown Detroit. I am a city girl, through and through, and cannot imagine living and working anywhere else! My biggest vice is by far shopping; surprise, surprise. I am obsessed with shoes, unicorns, tea, and politics. I love my two cats more than anything in the world. Fall is hands down my favorite season. My family and boyfriend are the most amazingly awesome people in the universe and I would fall to pieces without them. I firmly believe that flaws are beautiful and I would rather be genuine than perfect.

I created Four Season Fabulous as my creative outlet during grad school.

Since grad school is costing me an arm and a leg, I am all about budget friendly fashion that reflects my personality and mood on a daily basis. I think you can look and feel great, rain or shine, all year long, without spending a lot of money. I hardly wear the same outfit twice and love to mix things up with different accessories. I would describe my style as colorful, comfy, and coordinated; I am all about the details.

Because I am a busy girl on the go, my blog will tend focus on things I wear in my everyday life, beauty tips that are relevant to a working girl, and recipes that are quick, easy, and healthy. I'm madly in love with the chaos that is life and I cannot wait to share my adventures with all with you!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
